Services for online students and staff

McIntyre Library offers Distance Education services for students who are not able to visit campus regularly, including those participating in online courses or studying abroad.

If you are an online student or staff member who resides more than 20 miles from campus, you may request that physical materials from McIntyre Library or other UW libraries be mailed to you.  In Library Search, you can request your items:

  1. Log in
  2. Select your book or other physical item
  3. Click on "Get A Physical Copy" or "Hold Request"
  4. Toggle your Pickup Location to "Distance Learner Address."
